She says she found it outside the off-license wedged between two crates of cheap wine, like a magpie waiting for a chip, Jackie grabbed a bottle first, but then the ring fell out of the box so she nabbed that too. After a bit of investigating down at The Dog and Ferret near the docks, some fellas say these crates arrived from the States, well the dodgy wine and them what shipped it, got seized coz the wine is mostly made of fish residuals and egg product and well they made that fine print small but not small enough, clearly. Anyway Jackie drunk the wine and gave me the ring, she says the wine was a bit tangy but drinkable.
